I say it has it is...i saw you making an incorrect interpretation (IMO) of that review, and i made my coment...thatīs all.
I think we have to agree to disagree on the interpretation - to me, for a multimedia flagship phone, that's a very poor review. There's a phrase in english - "damning with faint praise" - that sums it up for me. The positive points are so few, they're barely worth mentioning. Looking through their other reviews, that score of 75% puts it on a par with the looks-nice-but-totally-vacant Nokia Prism - not exactly something to be proud of.
Also...am i saying something wrong when i say you know prefer WM phones?? But its great to know you are being "payed" for that lol
The thing is, I did like UIQ (I used it for four years) and I would have stayed with it if SE had produced decent phones. It's not like I just decided to switch "team" on a whim, or even that WM particularly attracted me away - it's simply that SE haven't kept up.

The review did say that the speaker is one of the best available in a phone, so I guess, it suits music lovers.

That's just lies. They don't pay anything.

LOL
What we want is a P1i with the W960 media player stuff

- When do we want it? NOW!
Might even pay for updated hybrid firmware... - if someone doesn't crack it first

all the reviews of the w960 mentions the fumbling between stylus, scrollwheel, keypad.
being a ex w950 user, i'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks the lack of nav key is killing usability in uiq3

@G-Izzat
I blame my man-flu for forgetting the W950!
Still, even taking that into account, that was a half-arsed attempt by SE really, all they did was take an M600 and slap some Walkman features into it. I class the W960 as the first true smartphone handset as its not a rebranded business phone (although specs are close to P1, it differs just enough to be different).
I don't even know if that makes any sense but I'm too sick to care!

Unless you really want the Symbian OS and Wi-fi, we suggest getting a K850i and sticking an 8GB Memory Stick Micro up its backside. Then you have an 8GB music player with a five-megapixel camera and HSDPA that you can use with one hand. You can't say that of the W960i
Err- I went from a W810 to a K850i and sent it back after 3 days - the flipping thing was virtually unusable on the level of software it's on - there's still no new update that resolves all the bugs and don't get me started on the battery life and build quality! I can't take the reviewer seriously because of that comment.
Anyway - needless to say I still have my W960 and am very happy with it. I'm no model specific fan boy but I like almost everything about the phone.
It's is a strange omission but I can live without HSDPA as I'm not using mine as a modem for a laptop etc - the downloads speeds are good enough when using Opera Mini.

samsung d900 kicks ass
bawhaha obviously im joking, wouldn't touch the filth.
i own a p990 and recently upgraded to a w960 and haven't looked back.
anyone who can criticise the w960 obviously hasn't compared it properly to any other uiq device. its miles ahead of any of them, maybe on par with p1, but thats it.
it is an outstanding smartphone with all the trimmings. and finally, enough ram to function.
my p990 would die if i ran 3 applications at once, now i can run 15! and use the walkman in the background.
im sorry, but i am loyal through and through to se. and although they have some handsets that i wouldn't use, but you need to bear in mind that certain handsets are aimed at a target market, if you dont like the w960, then you probably aren't a fun loving classy professional, but more likely youre my uncle, who likes the n95 because its a nokia, and his mate had one down the pub with a dirty video on it.
but each to their own eh
I'm glad you said that it's better compared "to other UIQ devices", because if you've ever tried the N95 8GB/N82, you'll see that it quite MILES ahead of...everything.
It's true that the p1i is a lot more affordable though...
@Everyone that quoted me before:
Yeah blasphemy indeed.

I totally agree with my old friend AREZ - well done SE - this is the way to go. What a super-powerful and nice flagship device.

i think W960 is quite good, in fact, it has done well as a multimedia device though i kind of miss the GPS on my TYTN II though
W960 boasts everything we need in a multimedia, and a good built quality is a bonus IMO. may be the W960 simply not the device the reviewer wanted.
