What I'm really pissed with, and it seems some of you haven't noticed is:

THEY WON'T FIX MY PHONE EVEN IF I PAY!!!

No matter what support center I put the phone to fix in, it'll always go to DataFax in Porto, which is the main SE representative in Portugal, and those guys simply won't touch the phone, WITH or WITHOUT my money.

P.S.: I've only now tried to make a call with it and realized the speaker (the one you put next to your ear, don't know if that's how you call it...) simply doesn't work. So, I basically can't make phone calls with this phone...

Isnīt software update (by SEUS) some kind of modification?
He is still using genuine SE software, without any source code changes. Itīs just another version of it. Make sense?

..I just assumed it would be possible to find another repair- shop.

But this is bad. You really should take it further in some way.

Believe me, if they don't fix my phone, I'll take the warranty there and they'll have to explain to me how CDA changing broke my keys, even if they don't fix it after. Why are there so many stupid people in telecommunication business? Man...

Did you buy the phone SIM free or did you get it at a reduced purchase price with a contract?

If it was with a contract you may well find that changing the Firmware / Software breaches the terms of your contract and invalidates your guarantee. Reason being the networks want you to have their branding and use their portals. It used to be the case that when you read the small print you did not even own the phone!!!!! Always read the small print before messing with a contract phone, Network operators do NOT want you taking off their branding.

Yes it is a modification, but it is written somewhere in the terms and conditions that a SEUS update does not void the warranty.

You're acting like I am SE and I'm at fault here. I'm not. I'm just a user like you guys and all I'm saying is what SE state in their warranties and terms and conditions. There are no holes that you will find in it. Its solid because I bet SE have been duped many times before. Just don't shoot the messenger eh?
