Well It all worked a real treat!! flashing without a hitch yay!!

But i have out smarted myself I also updated my K800i with SEUS dumb ol' me!!

now it's CID53 and as far as I can find that's not supported yet so I'll just sit back and wait until it is
it's my fault anyway lol ha ha ha

hope the crew at xs++ have success soon though

The only free flashing program that supports cid53 is jdflasher plugin for FAR (information on se-nse) This allows for flashing of main and fs along with transferring files - although through a less graphical interface.

Hopefully xs++ will support cid53 in the near future though

thanks for all your help again I did get on to jdflash & far and have made my mods again if I didn't have your help I wouldn't have even bothered to find them

EDIT--I personally prefer xs++ to me it seems easy and simple to learn
but thats just me
