It's incredible that in spite of how hard the Opera people worked for this 8.65 great Opera Mobile browser, most of the people with Symbian still use Opera MinI! That's for non-Symbian handsets...

Nope, it's for any handset which supports Java.
It's light, faster and more economic due to resizing and is therefore definitely the better choice, especially on low bandwidth connections (gprs, edge).
But it isn't recommended for secure transactions and other activitiies where transmission of sensitive information is required, since all information is being decrypted and reencrypted at Opera servers.

If the permission request at startup is what you mean with pop-ups, get the multi certificate version via your phones web browser, select 'allow and don't ask again' at initial start and you'll never be asked again..
If by mistake you should select anything else, you can still change it in the midlet permissions.

Thanks, I did the upgrade, it's great! I still use Opera browser but sometimes the Mini is good to use!
