I think all religions need to modernise, some of the beliefs of the Catholic Church are just laughable in todays modern world. They'd all benefit from moving with the times rather than clinging stubbarnly to tradition. It's easily possible to keep tradition but also update.
It's a good point Mik
But with Islam bringing in change is classed as innovation and not allowed, i personally prefer the way it is, the religion guides me through my 24 hour day and helps in every difficulty or joy! being a firm beleiver in Islam i don't think any changes are needed and that opinion would be shared by many who follow it daily.
Same with the Holy Qur'an, no change in over 1400 years and to prove that you can go in any country or any Muslim household in this world and you will find the same wording with no change.
So personally no change is needed.

I can understand that but I think it would be still possible to have the exact same level of faith and guidance and unchanged holy text but with a more modern realisation of the world. Personally I'd see more guidance from something that moved with the changing world rather than opposing it. With Catholicism for example, I like and appreciate many of the foundations and principles it teaches but I don't practice the religion as it is too old fashioned and out of touch in my opinion.
Faith is something which offers a lot to people but I don't think it should restrict their normal lives.
Anyway, before this become a religion topic and gets closed
I'm once again sick of SCEE! Not only was their original LBP release delayed by 3 days after the US release, not only did SCEA immediately announce a re-release date of Oct 27th and SCEE said "later" but now they finally give a date and it's anytime across a whole week from Nov 3rd to Nov 7th! So firstly they take longer to tell us when it'll be back out, then they can't even give a proper date and ultimately there's yet another delay thrown in there as well!
What exactly do these idiots at SCEE do?! Everything they touch is delayed, everything comes later than in America and usually at a higher price. What a set of clowns!

Isn't it within the week beginning on the 3rd? So anytime from the 3rd to 10th?
Either way it's kind of crap, cause our NZ dates follow the UK dates generally but I think because of the delay that shipping makes and the fact they'll probably tell shops to 'sell it when you get it' because of the re-do, this time around we'll probably get it last out of anyone...

I suppose it could be anything from mon 3rd to Sun 9th yeah but I was just assuming it'd be a weekday release as games usually are.
The worrying thing is that whenever it finally does release, will they release a ridiculously limited quantity?! Don't be surprised if they do and we still can't get the damn thing.
Mine's pre-ordered from Game and I've not heard any confirmed date from them, presumably because they've no idea when they'll get it.

Sony apologized on this accidental gesture and announced the released date for North America being October 27th. This is a very good news that this matter has been settled without any violence or riots taking place.

Yes SCEA announced the 27th but the incompetant SCEE can't match that and need an extra week or two!
I don't think this is cause for violence! Anyone who created trouble over something like this would be a disgrace to any community. I would like to know though why the song was not objected to in the two years it's been on sale previously?
I think in fairness to Sony they'd have had no idea that there was anything wrong with the song which they simply licensed, they didn't create it specifically for the game themselves.

true, no need for violence or any trouble in this matter or any other.
Mik, to be honest i have never heard of this singer or this issue before, and as far as i know many here in the UK won't be aware of him too! Its a good question why this wasn't stopped by the people who do know him!!!
