i had a j5 sony phone back in the day. And it was a good phone, so sony can make good phones.

Sony were definitely innovative so we shouldn't dismiss them too quickly, and who knows where they'd be now with mobiles if not for the merger.
I can somewhat understand their reluctance to keep a tight hold of the playstation brand

Ah yes, an amazing phone, remember how you controlled it with that cool roller. Oh remember that sand game where you could build up cool shapes. It was really advanced phone, I miss it.
Shame it broke...
I personally blame Ericsson, their a bad influence on Sony, just kidding
