The version from the SE site is a new version. I installed and it fixed all my sync problems.

Anyway, the version on the SE site is newer although the CD got from SESS contains all the manuals and guides... it is around 210 mb.
The only thing different is that SE claims that is is just the more stable version... particularly for those having problems with using the backup/restore and the synchronise function.
