I got this phone a few days ago on my way through Singapore airport (couldn't pass it up as it was €300 sim free)
Well what a waist of money, I now must convince my wife to take it (she has a 2 year old W890 which see loves)
Why am I saying this?
I used it for 2 days and then went back to my iPhone.
I can't believe I am saying this as I have loved using Sony Ericsson phones for years until I got the iPhone.
I would never have said it before but the 2.6 inch screen was too small after using the iPhone. The iPod on the iPhone was so much better to use and the sound quality beat the W995
I was also very disappointed by the earphones that came with it (I have a pair of ultimate ears)
Of course the camera is much better but I never use the camera. The stereo speakers are very nice though.
I wouldn't say its a bad phone but after using the iPhone I just couldn't use it.

Well I dont think the sound quality is bad its very good with better headphones. Also the Iphone is something completely different so you cant compare them. I much prefer this to an Iphone anytime. As for bets no but you can waste your money if you want lol. I cant trust myself in a phone shop but with being in a contract now and having a spare pay and go phone I am satisfied for sometime to come. Contract is not 24 months its 18
can I last that long I hear you say. Well I will probably have to. Or if its too much a sim free phone used on my contract but its not going to happen now I gotta be careful with money for a while

will post some pics soon probably later in the week as I probably wont get on my brothers pc for ages yet. Update. I just took a photo of the bright blue sky behind my house. In the shot a wasp appeared quite shocked me I have a phobia of them
anyway the wasp was not close enough to be a high quality nature shot. My slider is ever so slightly wobbling now but only when open but also not much.

i wouldnt worry about the wobbly slider,my c905 has it from when i 1st bought it neraly a year ago and it hasnt got worse.

Yeah even years ago I had one or two Samsung sliders and they wobbled a little. As long as it does not suddenly drop off. But I do 28 days if faulty. The slider is solid once closed it does not bother me its not bad. No other problems with it except sometimes my first photo taken takes ages to save. Does anyone know what that might be? Could it be my card needs formatting? It only happens once sometimes not every time when I take my first pic after camera has been off for a while.

Anyway enjoy your W995 its the 1st time im actualy envying SE owners since the W800, which i ended up getting
hmmm. . . .not good. Tell me is it possible to Minimize the built-in web browser? That is a MAJOR deal breaker for me.

The quality is so nice outdoors and its easy to view even on sunny days. I dont think I shall be affording the Satio anytime soon I shall be in contract and it will no doubt be pricey. I may have to last. The quality of the speakers that came in the box is surprisingly loud. I have fixed the problem with the camera taking ages to save photos. The memory card needed formatting in the phone itself. Thank god.
