Handphones these days are not treated as durable goods like they use to be. It has become a disposable item. People seem to change phone every other day. As far as I know, or I may be wrong that there is no binding agreement in the contract of sales stating specifically that the purchaser shall not change the IMEI
As a hobbyist, Changing your Own phone IMEI is OK , so long as one don't break the laws

I noticed something strange when I used Divlpt5 to change the IMEI of my T630..
It was totally locked up.
All four locks were locked, and 0 tries on the code..
And if I try yo unlock it again, the old IMEI comes back..
Any idea why this happens?

It seems that I need to use patched flash files for IMEI changing...
Just in case someone has the same problems...
