Hmm... I don't know, I don't think my Elm has any kind of firmware customization. I bought it in a general electronics store, without any kind of contract or subscription.

All phones have a customisation file mate. It determines the languages and region the phone is intended for.
Unfortunately a lot of people assume everyone knows everything about their phone which is not true.
To view the software version properly you need to access the service menu. This is done by quickly pressing right, star, left, left, star, left, star. Where left/right refers to the d pad and Star refers to the star button on the keypad (bottom left)

Not a UK model then. Also the phone is showing 1 error (1E0W). Basically this means that the install hasn't gone exactly right. It won't affect your phone in anyway but if you want to clear it. Reflash with seus making sure you've not got your memory card or sim card inserted. After finishing. Boot your phone up without the sim or memory card in. Once loaded turn the phone off and put your sim etc back in. Start the phone and set it up.

Are you sure that this error doesn't affect the functionality of my phone at all? Because if it doesn't, I'm not going to waste my time to re-install the firmware yet again, since SEUS wipes out all of my apps, including those that I bought on PlayNow...

Edit: SEUS never mentions anything about removing the sim and memory card before updating, why is it important?

No it doesn't affect the phone at all. Basically when it booted up after the update. Your phone would be configuring itself. While its doing this it also detects the sim card and tries to load from there. Its something thats occured on SE phones for well over 5 years now. A while ago SEUS used to say to remove the sim card but the newer versions don't mention it. Also. It has been know that memory cards have become corrupted if left in the phone while its being flashed. The card then needs formatting to work again. I still do it as a precaution to avoid any problems.
