My built in FB app has started to bug. Everything but notifications can be updated. I get a fail message saying something like (translated from Swe-Eng) "Notifications can't be updated. Please try again later. [601/Parser error, unexpected - at line 64]".
I have not made a hard reset, but everyting else. Is there a better app for FB than the built in?
Cheers,
Mange

Yea. I did not ask you to post everything you found on the internet. What exactly are YOU planning to gain from? Speed improvement is not exactly a feature. It depends to be honest. Saving apps in your memory card is a no go. The NAND has way better B/W than a memory card and apps stored in the internal memory would run faster.
We already have Moxier in our phones which provides you with everything you need.
The others are hardly an improvement. And name me a few apps which need 2,2 and which are actually groundbreaking?
Improvements are improvements or are you daft as well as stupid.

Hey Mange, have you tried downloading the latest official FB app for Android? It might just be a connection bug... it happens from time to time.

I'm more interested in the overall even better features in 2.2 which HTC devices will offer sooner than SE ever will or won't for that matter.
Android 2.2 improvements include:
* Speed Improvement - That's a 5x improvement, the implication being that Android games and apps will run several times faster than before.
* App data backup
* Improved Enterprise / Exchange Support
* Push services - "Android Intent"
* Tethering / Mobile Hotspot
* Much faster browsing experience - V8 in browser
* New functionality in browser- Camera, orientation, geolocation
* Support for Adobe Flash and Adobe Air
* Search the Android Marketplace directly from Quick Search
* The ability to install applications on the SD card automatically
* One-button update or automatic update for apps
* The ability to stream your own music from your desktop
Then of course being able to use the latest applications.
Oh and did anyone say MULTI-TOUCH!

The ones I'm looking forward to are:
-Speed/response time improvement
-MULTIPLE GMAIL ACCOUNTS!
-Native, and stable, hotspot tethering
-better browser than the one in 1.6 (Opera is fine, but native browser in 1.6 still has better rendering..but I hate the "Mac Expose style tabbed browsing")
-Official YM & Twitter apps
-Hopefully a decent photo album app, not one that displays EVERYTHING w/ no folder capabilities

This is looking good, shipping with Android 2.2 at launch and will be getting Android 3.0, and the rest. N-series connectivity wifi (You won't see a Sony Ericsson handset with that for at least 10 years)
