Thanks Tobias!
@tranced
Unfortunately, this is not the one I've been working on yesterday and today. I managed to get it to save outgoing messages and am almost done with marking incoming messages as read, but I got a crash report that needs to be fixed in this release as well, so it might take a short while.

I've just uploaded an update:
- Marks incoming messages as read
- Saves outgoing messages
- *hopefully* fixes the StaleDataException error that a few people have been experiencing

I would love to get some feedback from people who's updated to v1.0.4 - is the app storing messages correctly and are incoming messages being marked as read without any issues? Thanks!

I'm trying 1.0.4 version on my X10 (wolfbreak cyanogen 6.1.3 rom), everything works well except for incoming sound message, if you could solve this it would be the app of the year!!
edit: I notice that the stock sms app hangs few second when I open it

Nice app! A cool feature for the future could be to display the message on the lockscreen also, if thats even possible. Miss that feature a lot coming from IOS.

Thanks for the feedback!
Next version will include better notification options. It's impossible for me to display anything on the lockscreen - however, this is done automatically in Android 2.3 on the Arc, Neo and Play
Tested it myself on all three, and it works beautifully.

Yea I know, but on IOS you can actually read the sms on the lockscreen. Shame its a nice feature

The only way of reading the SMS without unlocking the phone, is reading the notification which shows the text in its full length. Other than that, I'm afraid I can't do anything about it
