Sony Ericsson told me via email the following:
Memory Stick DUO - The P800 supports all sizes currently available and currently due for release.
Now, 512 Mb and 1 gig duos had already been rumoured at this stage, including on the roadmap at memorystick.org (currently being updated, so not available) so that suggests that the P800 should support them... Fingers crossed.

i new it, why would sony limet the P800 to only 128mb? its silly it would mean once people bought the 128 they wouldnt buy a bigger stick which would mean sony would lose buissnes

ahhhh, one gig memory stick. Wouldn't it be great if it indeed is supported, so that you can watch movies like Manos, The Hands of fate (www.imdb.com) on your mobile?
Of course, hopefully a divx movieplayer will be available as well, it'll save me converting it to mpeg.

Yeah Fear Factor guess you will have to apologise for being wrong about the maximum duo allowed in the p800/900.
Where did you get your duff info in the first place?
Did you bother to contact SE?

I'm not sure why you are reactivating a thread that has not been active for 11 months but Fear Factor is still correct as had been said many times recently, including by me
here and by Sony themselves on
this page (it says "Duo size only" whereas other products say "Pro Media Compatible" if those product are) and
this page where it specifically says "up to 128mb"
I'll close this thread now too since we have so many of these memory stick threads
