I didn't see it at first, now I do #3. Adding those 31 functions would make the P800 outstanding.

@Sage:

Show me where this is available please.

You are saying that the ability to go direct to the month view whenever you open the calendar without having to look at the day view is already there and each time you edit a record it defaults back to the month view?????

@SE21, i definitely agree with you with being to explore the other sms folders while the flip is closed. i find it cumbersome that i have to flip it open just to browse through the other folders (especially the draft folder where i make it my sms 'template' folder for replies)

don't u guys find the keypad cumbersome? i like it when i only need to use one hand to compose a sms message. but now i have to have the flip open, have to use my two hands (one hand to keep the phone in place, the other to push the buttons) or sometimes i have to press the same key twice or more because the first (few) time didn't work (not sure if the upgrade fixed any of this. still have r1 here. anyone noticed an improvement after the upgrade(s)) ?

This list is a great idea but it would be good to prioritise it a bit

My wishes are:

1. Global Find throughout all applications (calender, jotter, call list, and even 3rd party apps).
2. A working sync with Lotus Notes calender
3. Variable length of time and brightness for backlight
4. Jot shortcuts (ie. like Palm graffiti strokes to execute commands)

adding items already on the list, this is my top ten (not necessarily in order of importance):

5. T9 predictive text
6. Birthday field in contacts, in sync with calendar
7. Video Recording with sound
8. Improved and easier Bluetooth
9. Undo Feature
10. Profiles

Regards,

I would like mine to make me a cup of tea. Anything that can't make a good cup of "chai" is not worth it !!

Seriously, if the synchronisation with Lotus Notes were to work, I would be a man !!!

In the UK it is legal to record conversations even if the other person is unaware of the recording. BUT the recording must not be made available to a third party, i.e anyone that was not intended to recieve the information. The recording must me for your own use.

I would appear that if someone were to say "You can tell so and so that he is a ........." then that would probably count as permission and therefore it might be OK to play it to the 3rd party.

So if the recording is for you fine.

If you want to play it to someone else get permission.

If you are interested the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA) is the relevant ACT. (www.hmso.gov.uk)

cheers
