Lesson learnt for all....should not admire your T68 while you are in the toilet...

I'm sorry d00d, hearing things like that is like a razor to my heart. If anything like that happened to my T68, I would suffer terribly

Oh man that sucks...

Water and electronics are bad news... for e.g I know (from strong rumours.. DUN try!) that my Nikon SLR can probably survive at most 20 secs immersed in water before irreparable damage and its built very solidly...

But mobile phones are more fragile.. if it still works count yourself lucky.. but if it doesn't don't despair.. the replacement parts will be costly but prob not too much given that its a new phone (I'm speculating here)

Let us know what happened... maybe this tells me that its time to get a case for my T68... hmm...

There was another guy here who left his phone in the washingmachine and someone else who dropped it in the swimming pool or went swimming with it, can't remember
So, if you're lucky, it should be ok. I presume you dived into the toilet and grabbed it out immediately Wish I had a pic of that

Good luck

I dropped my T68 in a swimming pool 2 months ago. Luckily it was not chlorinated or salt water. It was submerged for about 30 seconds. The vibrating motor was going continuously when I got it out but the green light was still flashing. I pulled the battery out, shook it a lot to dislodge as much water as I could, and left it to dry for 2 days before trying it again. Works fine now although there is some residue under the screen where it has dried out. SE should add 'water resistance' to the list of features

Good luck with yours.

Actually it wasn't because I hadn't posted that information before (too embarrassed!). So it looks like there are several of us who have had 'little accidents' with our T68s. I'd rather drop it in a swimming pool than a toilet though...

haha, i didn't pee or anything before it went into the toilet. I didn't try to turn on my phone yet. I'm gonna wait till tomorrow and try it out. Hope it works!
