good to hear! I dont even know how SE let themselves release the t68i when they knew blatently well that people were annoyed with the t68 for being soooo slooowww.

a year and a half a go, when the T68 came out, the phone was so superior that the slow menus where just a small minor point. The only colour screen phone was the Trium Eclipse back then. Nokia had only his 8310 and 6510 as answer. T68 rocked! Options no other phone has, li-polymere batterys, ... Even one year later, the T68i was and is still much better then many other phones. The Siemens S55 has the same color screen and click-on camera, but that is a year and a half later that they come out with it.

The T68 is not that slow when empty, but when you've filled up the SMS inbox, e-mail and pictures (and especially filling up the SMS memory on the SIM card) the phone is slow... So I expect these new T610's to get slower with time, as people also use them more and are not as excited about actually owning the phone any more...
But I think this phone will definitely be a much better phone than the already good T68m/i

Hey, apart from being a bit thinner what makes the t610 better, if it is, than the GX10. sounds to me like sharp has a better screen, cam and looks. I do think its a good phone but not tempting me to upgrade.

IŽve found one bug, and it is when u go into what i would call "file mode" of "my pictures" iŽll try to explain.
When you are at "my pictures" there is a "more" button you can press, doing so will give you some alternatives, choosing the alternative "memory left" (i cannot remember the exact name) at the bottom till give you how much every form of information will take i.e "my sounds - 168KB" pressing yes (or pushing the joystick button) on one of these will give you this mode i was telling about. (This also works on the T68i)
What you will see is every file and its size.
If you try this with the pictures you will loose contact with your phone and eventually it will crash.
The build quality is by far superior to the finnish relatives, i have had a 8850 and i payed 7500sek for it so i should know.
The hissing sound has disappeared (yes its true!) i dont have any theory on the matter yet but as soon as i can figure out why.
The camera has a "clicking" sound, isnt very annoying and gives you a hint that the photo is taken if you are taking a picture of yourself for instance.
As for the phone being slow, no it is not, the only times i have felt the phone being slow is when i change "theme" but it is not everyday you d o that. (Knowing what to do in the terms of processing and memory achieving it is understandable it is taking time)
Writing an SMS with T9 support is now somewhat 25% faster than on a T68i.
