As i said all along nokia products are superior in quality and attention to detail. Take for example the screen light and color sony ericsson have light years to go before they invent something with similar quality.

have you been smoking any illegal substances lately?
i have had pretty much every single nokia phone released lately: 3650, 7650, 7210, 6610, 6100
out of these the only one that i felt had nice build quality was the 6100.
The rest of them have the cheapest plastic i've ever seen in a phone. Even alcatel phones have better plastic. The 7250 has cheap imitation metal plastic. How can you even try to compare this to the aluminium on the T610 or the rubber backing on the T68?

Nokia are still using 4096 colour displays and a shitty, outdated interface (exactly how old is Series 40 now?!), nokia know nothing about build quality - 8210, 8310 anyone?
Nokia don't include half as many features, features which SE users expect as standard - tri band for one.
When Ericsson introduced the T68 and changed the mobile phone market forever, what did nokia have then?

Hi all... just got my new phone (hong kong)... and it does have the hissing noise
The phone feels pretty good, very solid. However I do not like how the joystick is now off center of the phone. It makes it hard to hold the phone and move the joystick. The T68 joystick is in the center so when your thumb is on the joystick, part of the phone will lay in your palm. But now, since the joystick is to the bottom, you have to move your phone up a little. When I use the joystick, very little of the phone is on my palm. Most of the phone on the fingers. I dont know if anyone know what I am talking about but just try to imagine your T68 joystick is the 2 key instead of the joystick and maybe you get what I mean... I have a hard time using the joystick and making sure the phone does not fall off my hand. Another reason might be becuase the phone is now heavier, making it harder to balance.
Can anyone tell me if the joystick is suppose to blinks? I thought they placed the LED there, am I wrong? or does my T610 have some problems? The screen get so dark that you cant really see the clock and without the LED, the phone is like off.

The hissing noise is heard when the other side speaks, it is not loud indeed and is only noticable when u r in a silent place.
I think that most (all?) Hong Kong T610 owners have the same problem, and probably the first batch of stock is like that.

I need to make some correction on my review:
WAP - after clicking a link, the "More" softkey will be changed to "Stop", so not "nothing will show and response". However, the speed to load WAP site is much slower than my T68i, I don't know why.
