You can just turn T68 face down if you dont want the light:-) But i totally agree its usefull to have the green led to know if you have signal just by looking at it and whats more I think its some sort of special signature of Ericsson since all their mobiles have the green flasher:-) Makes people know yov have a Sony Ericsson, a fine communication instrument and not just an ordinary mobile that looks modern but primitive when it comes to application. Hey! You can also easily find your phone in the dark;-)

I am sure that I saw a post on how to turn the light off ages ago.
It had something to do with playing a ringtone blah blah blah.
I cant find it as I am super bad at searching, as some of you already know

If you hate the blinking lights so much... buy a case for your T68i and stuff it in it when not in use.
I was so happy when I found out that the P800 still had the green AND blue LEDs!!! From the initial pics, I couldn't see any LEDs.. glad they found a VERY nice way to "hide" the lights from plain sight.
The T610 still has an LED, but it's hidden in the joystick...I feel that the T68i should've had an LED here as well.

Well I agree with the OP. I find the light annoying. I would prefer it if it was used to show exceptional conditions only (like, an SMS was received, the phone has no signal) rather than indicating normal operation. It's annoying in the cinema where it's dark; I don't want this green flashing light that I can see through my pants pocket.
Um ok.. if your in a cinema, arent the phones not supposed to go off anyway? If it does go off and vibrate since most dont like the ringtones, you actualy expect to answer it with the sound from the movie itself?.. just turn the phone off when your in the cinema; its not like your going to answer it.

When I bought my phone I really did not like it. But now I have found it works like a LED on PC, so it is quite usefull to see if gprs is not freezing.
