popped into my local voda shop at lunch time and that t610 is HOT! and it's half the size that you would expect from most pictures!
would never buy it with network branding! the 13 second trick was like having a new phone, I love my t300
my contract runs out in November by which time, all bugs fixed, all tips and tricks established, will be available on t-mobile (only just probably ;o)) hopefully for free!
trying to kid myself i don't...NEED...IT...RIGHT...NOW... NNNNGGGGGGHH
oo! time for my medication!

My P800 is from Orange. It has the orange logo and some wap bookmarks already installed. When you switch on and off you have Orange logos but thats it. A software upgrade removed the start up and shut down logos and replaced them with ones. I suspect that the T610 will be the same.

Hello, i'm new to this forum I dunno if these questions have been asked...sorry if they have: (all questions are about the T610)
1. I have seen screeshots with a sim-free version of the phone and a vodafone customised one...just wondering the icons on the main menu of the voda customised phone, can they be changed to the sim-free version icons....as it looks better?
2.Can two T610 connect using bluetooth and send messages to each other?
3. Can you record sound using the phone and add it to a MMS?
4. Get a pic you took with the in-built camera and display it on the wallpaper?
5. Is the battery good...doesn't run out that easily?
6. Reception when talking to a person is better than Nokia phones?
thanks

1.Not manually, have to do a firmware upgrade, but was told it wouldnt change it, hope it does though
2. Havent tried, sorry only got 1 t610, and a p800
3.yes, easy to add recording to mms
4.yes
5.Havent used it much (waiting to get it unlocked, to use my other sim in it), though its seems pretty good, as it almost goes completely black when not in use (screensaver), therefore saving power.
6. Reception is quite good, though, if your unlucky like me, and get a snake in your t610 (the hissing), then you'll really be pi*sed off

Still though, you can hear the other person clearly, just make sure you check for hissing when buying
Hope i could of been of some help

Gosh..the technology in the T610 is amazing
the vodafone "optimisations" do they restrict any features on the T610 phone? Coz that would be bad as the phone is such high quality!

Not really sure, as i havent used a sim free/unbranded one

But the voda logos/settings do put the down a little, as in the menus dont look that good, though i think everything should be able to get cleared with an update (though i've heard it wont).
Also, u getting it on PAYG or contract, as i heard t-mobile shops have it now on contract (which i think, they havent change the settings???)
