The new adverts with the dj shadow music are inspiring!! But maybe I find them lush cause I'm a designer!

I don't understand what the big fuss is about customer service? You do know you dont have to speak to them everyday, you do realise that don't...?! lol

Yep the online tariffs kick ass

Still no word with the T610 on 02 and wierdly the 7250 has disappeared from the online shop!!

What is the fascination with O2 Jalu

For starters its a shabby 900mhz network. Technically inferior and old. old skool technology. The branding is bland and by using the dull voice of Sean Bean you aint got a chance. Have you seen the £ losses posted by them last week.

Its a true fact that if you have a shite credit rating (not me) and try any other network you wont get on. O2 will take any gypsy/kid cause they cant afford not to. Its a kiddies network. Therefore when the company makes huge losses its you strange loyal lot that will have to fork out. That's life. That's business.

Been with Orange for 7 years and you cant beat them. Why do you think Hutchinson are struggling with 3. The founded and built Orange and now have to topple the largest capacity network in the UK with 13.3 million ACTIVE customers. Aint gonna happen. They should not of sold Orange.

The future's pooo. The futures's 02.

This network snobbery is pathetic. Orange may be the best for you but o2 is much better for me thanks very much.

You really have a strange view of O2, Ive been with them for a couple of years now-had no problems and my tariff is far better value than my previous Orange and Voda accounts. As for your point about record losses blame the goverment for overcharging for 3g, you also seem to think that the heavy losses are unique to O2, did you not notice how much Vodafone lost in the last year?. @bernifreshman

Orange brand and lock their phones up. The phone is never yours unless you PAY to get it unlocked. O2 don't do that and as for the credit rating stuff what a load of b*ll*cks. Never heard such a load of rubbish in my life. ALL networks do credit checks and if you're accepted for one you are accepted for all. SOME networks won't let you take out more than 1 contract at a time. So WHERE do you get your facts from!!!???

As for the future, ORANGE is not it!!!

@ can1

I work for a group of credit references agencies mate. Know my sh*t. It is not the case that if you are accepted on one network then you would be on all. Its down to scoring. Educate yourself before you wreck yourself.

I used to work for Equifax and fully aware of credit scoring. Different companies use different scorecard criteria and your score is calculated from demographic info (Time at address, job, bank etc) and CAIS data. So I DO know what I'm talking about. I'd love to know which company you work for as I will speak to your HR dept and arrange some much needed training for you.

@bernifreshmann

excuse me but o2 use 900 and 1800 mhz as well as EGSM frequencies so I think u better check your facts mate before u start! what else do u expect them to use? The only thing they could use is 3G but thats months if not years off working. If the GSM network aint good enough for u go buy a 3G phone and video call yourself

A little info on o2 active I found on the intranet site -

O2 is moving from black and white to a brave new world of colour with the June 1 launch of O2 Active. Bright full colour icons and words have replaced black and white text in colour handset menus for everything from games, SMS, MMS to sports, BBC news & weather, chat and entertainment. O2 Active will be available on five handsets from June 1, launched on another seven by July 1 and by the end of August available on 70% of colour handsets, something that none of our competitors can offer. Details of compatible handsets are outlined in the attached document.

So is this just our long-awaited response to Vodafone Live? The answer is no. Our aim is to ‘simply deliver the best customer experience’ and to do this we have purposely waited until colour handsets were more widely available to get our proposition absolutely right. And in true O2 style we have adopted a completely different approach to our competitors, within the product itself and our supporting advertising and marketing campaign – on TV screens from June 4.

O2 Active has been tailored and optimised for each device, rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach. This ensures that the customer gets the best possible experience on every one of the supported handsets. O2 Active is very easy to use and provides a clear and simple user experience, thanks to extensive, user research and testing. It also works separately to the phone menu so our customers can still benefit from their knowledge of a certain make i.e. Nokia menus.

The home page icons are simple, clear and easy to understand – very much in keeping with the O2 brand values. The bold new icons aren’t just on the home page, many more have been developed to really bring out the richness of content. For example, instead of receiving a boring text message for the weather forecast, there are now icons similar to the ones used on TV forecasts. You can also benefit from O2’s exclusive partnerships with for example Arsenal and Big Brother 4.

You can have see how O2 Active works for yourself from June 1 through the emulator on www.o2.co.uk and look out for the June edition of O2 Live for more news on these great new products and services.
