No, it doesn't. You just hear a bip notification.
Maybe they programmed the SW like that for people who listen the tones in My Music.
But if you drop your phone on the table, you will hear the noise of the vibrations ;-)

They offer an AVLS-mode button, whitch prevent damaging your ears by limiting the max-volume.
They should just add such a feature if thats the reason of the increasing poly's
Can't we use the power we have here on esato? couldn't we send an group email with suggestions for their future software versions
Actually, i know that SE wants to hear the people's voice, just think of the loads of surveys they have started in the last few months
