> T610 - Initial charging time?
Bookmark topic
I know it is a bit stupid but how do I know when the battery is fully charged? I am charging my T610 for the first time. After some 2 hours, the red led in the joystick goes out. The battery icon on the screen is full but it still reads 'Charging only'. Does red light going out indicate completed charging? Or will it display something like "Charging completed"? Thanks!

When the joysick light goes out then charging is complete. There is no separate message that says charging complete.

Your not alone, my phone lasts roughly 2days max as well with minor usage. I'm going to do what Alex did tho and see if that helps, I expected the phone to last a weekend at least!

Hi i'm new here, hello to everyone!
Like to ask, so after the initial charge, after massive usage do i wait for the battery of t610 to go completely flat first or just low, to start charging it again?

hi guys
Question: I posted a similar query re: charging the battery in a different forum similiar to this:
I asked, isnt there an initial charge requirement? If so, then wont I have to plug the phone in at the store to check if it works, then unplug it after a few minutes then go home, then do the initial charge there. That makes it not "initial" and wont that affect the battery consdiering the initial charge is crucial?
They said the battery is lithium ion and that no initial chage whotsover is needed. After reading this forum, I am confused! Can anyone enlighten me?

Ok, my mistake. Although my battery was in the red yesterday morning (48 hours) and zero by the afternoon, its still going now, after talking for 15mins and playing games on it to run the battery down!!! Obviously something wrong with the battery meter, even if it does still give me low battery warnings. Hopefully it'll sort itself out when it does run down and I charge it up again!
