Hey 2manydjs, 1st u want to make sure that T Mobile NL has correctkly installed ur gprs actief or intensief. Without that, you CANNOT use the email function on the phone (in the msgs menu). That is because T Mobile conveniently blocks it
Check the T Mobile thread in the regional section for common problems installing gprs accounts
Good luck (oh and btw if and when you get it right, please do share your settings with us)

Does this mean I can only email using GPRS?

According to the T Mobile Customer Service desk, only via gprs. I really don't know why. Anyway in my case it doesn't work AT all.

I don't want to use GPRS!! Dammit....
I got to find a way to use GSM instead of GPRS.

Atm I can only check my email thru wap browser using gsm (and gprs) but it seems unfixable in the messages menu

. I don't want to purchase the xtra subscription, coz gprs works on my account anyway. Why should i pay more?

I don't think Blueyonder has a APN for GPRS
I just dial into their local server (to me) and just download the emails through WAP. Why do u need GPRS anyway ??? u only download txt and (for me anyway) the cost is on my free mins

um, did you actually read my post?
you can collect your mails quickly thru GPRS with the settings i posted, or you can do it that way, which is sllloooooowww but free.

I'm trying to configure my T68i to access my IMAP mail (not O2 mail, but another server which I access using the same settings every day from my PC) and am having no luck at all.
Those settings dont seem to work for me, I'm on the pay and go talkalot tarrif. If I use mobile.o2.co.uk it says its an invalid APN. If I use payandgo.o2.co.uk but with username "web" and password "web", it says "GRPS request rejected". If I use the GPRS account I was set up with, which works for normal wap browsing it won't connect to my mail server, using hostname or IP address.
Has anyone else using Pay and Go managed to get it to work?
