@omegac75 - Mmy mistake, then, I guess, but I am certain i saw no AMG on it, but i guess it could have been removed at their choice, or had it all removed and had an SL500 with the SL55 badge on. Ne'er mind.
Well, I was half right! But it would still be a way of Merc getting more money, after all, thats what business is all about, but then, theyre not competition, not even the same sport.
But then, i guess the 'phone would have to have 'SL55 AMG' as its title to be copying it.

Not quite sure what the link says as didn't read all of it - but I know, as one example, that Intel changed from their numbering system (386, 486 etc) to the 'Pentium' designation because they could not copyright the numbers - thus AMD & Cyrix etc could make their own chips and call them the same. Don't know if there was anything special about that case though, or if it encompasses everything.
