Just few words to approve of this battery info function. When the battery indicator/symbol goes empty, the phone can still "live" quite a long time (my T68i even 12 hours).
So it is good to check whether there is time left 12 hours, 6 hours or zero. With no battery info I can only guess whether my battery will last some more hours, whether I am able to talk some more minutes or whether my phone will switch off in any moment.
