I had traded my T610 for a P800 with a friend
we both used the phone for 1 month so we exchanged them, so i wanted to start from scratch, and customise the phone the way i wanted it
so this really helped, will try to format mine tomrow when i get it from the service center as i have given it tp upgrade to R2f

Then there is no need for a format cause the upgrade will bring it into as new condition allthough i noticed that after a upgrade still the old dialup inet settings i had where there but everything else was nice and clean

So we from the above all discussion we concluded that there is no difference between Master reset and format internal drive (C:\) .
Anyone knows how can i save my Autosetup messages?
I am talking bout the OTA messages ... !
i have 3 ota messages and want to save them !

yes there is .....format completly removes all ( exept operating software ) and reset leaves bits of apps etc on your phone.....try it ...install a program ...do a master reset ...check phone with file manager and there you will find some of the files from the app you installed...
