ppl in singapore already have w28 phones!!! any of them out in dubai yet?? also i'd love to buy a blue one instead of the silver... wish somebody knew when they'd be out!

yes i showed them both the invoice and warranty card. they said it was only valid if i used my etisalat sim here, meaning if my etisalat sim could be used for roaming, otherwise the phone was considered bought from the the black market...unfortunately, etisalat covers a network signal here, xcept it cant receive or accept calls or sms, basically it turns automatically to the network here...the best thing i could probably do is go up to the main SE office here, show every documents i have and get my warranty recognised here. i just dont want to send alot of money for upgrading...

Did you get your phones exchanged at the Jumbo service center or at the Jumbo Showroom?
At the end of the day all the phones of SE go to JumaAlMajid for any repairs. And frankly speaking i think Juma Al Majid suck badly. In the last 2 weeks, my P800 has gone to Juma Al Majid, once directly and once thru Axiom, because i cant press my keys properly. And guess what after keeping it for 2 days once and 3 days thru axiom the problem is not yet fixed. Juma Al Majid took 1 and a half week to replace my cracking T610. I just think Se service center here are just close to useless, now i will be having to visit them the 3rd time for the same damn problem.

the reason i was asking for a store with huge sales is coz maybe they've ordered a fresh batch and i could get a week 24/25 phone.

I would rate Axiom and Jumbo both on the same level. When it comes to sales, i feel that Axiom has higher sales. Where it comes 2 jumbo, when i was there a few days back, they had a huge stock of week 23 as i saw that.
Frankly it doesnt make much of a diffrence of week 23/24/25, i feel all are same. I had a week 23 it was very clear, no hissing and very loud ringtones, so i thinkn they are preety much all the same.

Do you have an etisalat sim? I know etisalat prepaid sim comes with roaming as default. Maybe you could put that in and claim the warranty update? Else take all the documents to the SE office and see if they help you. Best of Luck!
