hi everyone :)
I think it's a fine idea with that list and I'm sure that someone (like jackpipe as the one who've started all this mess:))) should read all the complaints thoroughly and arrange them to send to SE (on behalf of all t610 users of course). I mean you should throw out all gags and discussions as well as hardware compaints.
I don't have a t610 yet but I want to. The main thing that holds me back is that there's no GPRS support in Java apps, so I guess you can't for example use Webviewer to browse web-pages (it's MIDP 1.0, so you can have it in your t610 but it seems like you can't use it with GPRS). So I think SE developers should fix these things because they sort of frighten potential buyers like me :)) And I guess it's not a very difficult improvement, not a hardware thing too.
In fact SE developers are rather attentive to users, I mean they still produce some useful firmwares for t68 phones, pretty often for this quite old phone, so I think they should also pay their attention to t610 users, shouldn't they? :)

how about e-mail client? For example I've just browsed WAP-sites and then I want to check my mailbox. Do I need to reconnect then? In fact there is such a problem in my R520m too...

A few annoyances for me, I agree with most of the other posts here too...
SMS messages don't show the number of the person who sent them, if that person is also in the phone book, if they have multiple numbers associated with their phone book entry. I know you can find the number by trying to call the SMS number and cancelling, but that's a but extreme.
Calls diverted to the mobile only show as "Diverted" for half a second
before ringing - N*kias add a ">" to the end of the number / name to show it was diverted.

I cant believe I havent noticed this before but when taking pics, the pic u take is not the one u get.... its zoomed out slightly and out of focus!
Animated GIF support on WAP pages would also be a bonus

i read in a review that it was possible to view different lists for dialled, received and missed calls. if that were the case i'd have nothing to complain abt concerning the call list. i'd be getting my t610 in a couple of days so don't know it for myself yet, so could someone pls confirm it?
one more thing along with all the things discussed in this list which i'm sure is going to bug me is the operator logo. why should we have to see it if we don't want to?? and coz chaging operator logos is standard in all nokias i don't think its a big deal implimenting it either. the wallpaper would look so much cooler without the operator right on top of it

I was wondering how i can transfer the pics I took from my t610 to my PC besides emailing it to myself. I don't have an ir or bluetooth adapter but im planning to get a data cable instead...is it possible to download files from my Phone to my PC using a data cable??

It will disconnect when you leave your browser, and then reconnect when you check your mail, i don't see this as a problem because connection is almost instant.
Regarding GPRS & JAVA, there is support for http, but not for socks. This means that applications like webviewer will work, I have actually tried webviewer and it worked fine.
