Hi ac

I use dBpowerAMP Music Converter with compression setting- Stereo 48Kbps constant bitrate, 44100 freq.

I find that encoding from original cds gives best results

Just installed 0.91 from previous 0.7 and it seems like there's been a lot of work put into this over the last month or so. The new browsing capabilities and sorting by folders, genre, etc is very nice - quite like WinAMP3's capabilities! I only have one suggestion, and one question:

Suggestion: My Ogg's have not got proper tags, but are named:
Track No - Artist - Title

In 0.7, these files were displayed all in order of path/filename so I could play an album easily in order. In 0.91, it seems to default sort by track title from the tag which screws up my ordering. I can't find a way to order them by filename (AND PATH). If I'm being stupid, let me know, but maybe a global option to use tags or not could be good?

Question: Failing that, can anyone recommend a lightweight Ogg tagger like ID3 Master for mp3s that can do intelligent batch tagging?

Ta.

just upgraded to 0.91, think my first version i had was 0.5, and it's been all good, a big hand to the author for creating and continually developing a top-notch product

How many albums do you get with unreal on a 128 stick?

I don't encode per album. I just copy the songs I like which is approximately 50-60songs encoded at 64kbps, stereo, 44khz whose total file size is approximately 108MB (I still have some other apps installed in the mem stick so I really can't pack it with songs

I get nine full albums at 48 kbps and cant tell the difference with 128 mp3.

Well that would really depend on the speakers you're using
