Its a shame how things turn out. I know many people here are looking for the normal ring-ring tones, Cybervisitor would have become their "hero" if he'd just share it with everybody. I'm sure one of them would be happy to MMS him the screensaver he wanted. But he wanted to be *sure* that he gets the screensaver rather than taking a chance that someone would return his kindness. There's nothing wrong with that, but maybe the way Cybervisitor said it was being interpreted as something else. Which is where we are now. Oh well...

No i didn't want to be *sure* I got the screensaver before giving the ringtones to anyone who wanted them.

1) I wanted the screensaver
2) I asked if someone could help me
3) In return of someone paying for an MMS I offered the ringtones
4) I would have given the tones to anyone who wanted them *even* if they couldn't send me the screensaver
5) I got offended
6) I didn't want the ones who offended me to have my ringtones
7) Now everybody seems to be looking for these ringtones (of course they do, there are no ringtones available for the T610 that *rings* and is loud without the lowering after each ring (except for the built-in Old phone, but that one was fun for about a day or two, then we all wanted *normal* ringing!)

As I wrote earlier, you can all keep your screensaver. And those who offended me: You made a lot of people sad since I decided not to share the tones because of you!

But I quess you all learned your lesson until next time: Before offending someone, read his text twice so you don't missunderstand what he is trying to say! You see, if you really want something that another person has gotten, don't offend that person!

I'm still don't know exactly which people offended you, but as I'm sure it wasn't me...

If you are willing to email them to me I will happily put them on my web-space for you. I'll PM you my email address if you like?

@JoolsG3

I feel sorry for the people looking for normal ringing tones. I don't have the time or knowledge to give them to all the people who seems to want normal tones.

Send a private message to me with your email. I'll send you the .midi-files. If you have more time and knowledge than me, then I leave it up to you to go from there.

Ah you see, I didn't know that. Because the way you wrote your first post was very business-like and rigid. Especially when you used phrase/words like "Here's the deal" and "trade". Maybe its not your intention, but it gives the impression that the only way people are going to get it is by sending you the MMS.

To prove my point, I'm sure you've noticed that usually when somebody started a thread saying "I have ..", its usually followed by and endless "Can you email/send it to me" type of replies. In your case, there were none, the first person that asked was the person who are willing to MMS you at the same time.

Anyway, this whole thing is just a mis-interpretation of your first post. Now that you've cleared that up, lets move on shall we.

'Here's the deal' is the same as 'Here's the situation'. 'Deal' is the same as 'I give something back'. In law-school they taught us that words and sayings has different meanings when applying the laws. But I didn't know common spoken words were as easy to missjudge. Maybe all you tech-people need get out there in real life once in a while and actually have conversations with people. That way you would be able to judge and apply at least common sayings and words without misunderstanding everything. This message was posted from a T610

dude we're all trying to stick up for you here-except for the initial few posters in your thread. we understand you're upset but you're starting to blanket your statements. you are coming off badmouthing the people who are defending you.
