Volvoman, your phone was replaced on Orange insurance I assume? My handset has faulty bluetooth and Orange are just dicking me around. The insurance scheme they run is good, replacement handset within 24 hours. Faulty handset and they don't want to know.

I think you are been given a bad service, as even if you do not have the insurance, they should be replacing this handset. Look under your terms and conditions and fight for your rights. Under their insurance scheme, they say that if the phone you have is no longer available they will replace with a phone of similar or same specifications, well their same spec equivilant for the T300 is the T200. Now anyone here will know that there is a very big difference between the two phones, so I stuck to my guns and explained the direct replacement for this phone is the T310. They phoned me this morning to say a T310 will be with me tonight between 6 and 10pm tonight. Just have a read of your terms and conditions and see what you can do. Once they realise that you know what you are talking about they will replace it. One big thing to remember is Be very nice and keep calm. This will get you a long way, with them. If you sart to rant and rave they will loose interest very quickly.

First of all, iīm sorry about the t310 - S55 price comparison, I looked the S55 up at
www.pricerunner.com and took the t310 price from Dealer in town.. that turned out to be unfair. Today the prices in Sweden are like this: S55 - 2063 SKR
T310 - 1465 SKR
Taken from Pricerunner.
That being said, the S55 still eats t310 alive
Re. the other posts: The S55 has a 256 color display, believe me on this, i have one!
It works perfectly fine with HBH30
To upgrade you need: fw. from
www.my-siemens.com (.exe-file, very easy to do upgrade)
Cable, USB or COM-port connected, thatīs it.

I would bear with them for another T610. Brilliant phone. I wouldnt want to use any other but if pressed I would go for the T310. I think the software in phones dont like being locked to a network. I have had numerous phones on virgin and even when unlatched the freeze, crash and power off and on. I only by simfree now and search for the best value contract about and pass crap phone to someone else. Good luck whatever you decide to do
