I just took an indecent pic of the lot of ya! LOL! Anyhow, it's sad that ppl have apparently abused their camphones to such an extent that causes reactions like these! In Japan, certain bookstores have banned camphones coz ppl would photograph whole pages out of magazines, rather than actually buying the magazine! How cheap can you get?!? Amazing how ppl always find new ways to abuse technology. :-(

This is an interesting subject and one that will probably become more and more widespread as the number of camera phones increases.
Are we going to find all mobile phones banned from certain places as a result of people abusing the technology and other people being paranoid about it?

Geez, all you have to do is put your phone into 'Silent Mode' and you can take as many pictures as you want without that annoying fake camera-shutter sound.
Alternatively, I betcha someone, somewhere (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) will reprogram the camera app to play a different sound file whenever you take a picture, to either be an audio-blank, the sound of gunfire, or a teeny-voice screaming "Oh my god, he's a pervert and he has a camera phone!!! EEEEEKKK!!!!"
You may now return to your regularly scheduled broadcast.

the cmrashuttersound is a wav in Z:\ so that wont be changed for a while

However if I had a choice. I would buy a p800 without the camera! Think how much smaller it would be!
