My phone has to go to service because DUST has gathered inside/on/arround the contact points of the joystick. The result of this is that I can only move my joystick 2 of 4 ways. Neat hu?

Bloody irritating, but I'll get a SW upgrade while they clean it.....

Never had this prob with my t68 or my i....

All this about dust, I have seen people use phones and throw them across the room, not bother with a leather case and just pop them in a pocket or bag. I have had quite a few phones and when I get bored with them after about 6 months they still look new. Giving them a clean with a damp rag once a week and a wipe daily with silver cloth or glasses cloth will take care of dust. Getting a cotton bud around the stick will help too This message was posted from a T610

sonyericsson made the 610 nice, i like the alu case and the look of the black plastic around the display... as long as its clean

i think the black plastic gets dusty and dirty very easily... thats why id suspect that the 610 generates more dust then other cells... but i might be wrong

Then final answer: The T610 does NOT collect more dust than others!

BUT if u put it in your pocket, u will get more dust than if you have it in a holster or lethercase (as on every other phone)
