Well, IMO the difference between bashing and pointing out bugs/things that could have been better etc. is that when you´re bashing something, it´s like: "-Man I really hate Nokia" "-Why?" "- Because they suck!" "-Ok.. in what way?" "-I dunno, they just... suck. I have a friend who had a girlfriend who had a 8210 and man, it was really bad"

Or constructive criticising like, well, like this thread..

Right?

Sure - I agree; it's just that I infer from the original poster's message extreme disappointment, and regret at the purchase almost. (And one would expect to see more praise in the Esato threads - maybe the original poster should go to a Nokia forum and repost there! LOL.)

Surely someone with this many gripes should change phones?

Steven.

This is a handy hint for checking for messages when glancing at your T610. when the key pad is locked press the camera button and the screen will light up for a few seconds enabling you to see if there are any messages or missed calls. After a few seconds the screen turns off again and the key pad doesn't light up at all therefoer saving battery!

Maybe that missed call and sms thing that dissapear because of the clock is to prevent the screen to burn, if theres is a little icon that says that you have an SMS when there is the clock and you totally forget for a whole day your phone at house ( just an example ) I think that their will be a burning trace on the screen of that little icon ...

So (maybe) don't blame SE for that, we should ask at a technician if it's correct ...

Everything said here about the T610 is absolutly true (well about the clock i'm not so sure). But if we want action the only solution is to make a petition with everything (even with other requests like MIDP2) said here.

I hope someone do it.

Nokia did this with no problem at all on the 7650. They INCLUDED this icons for lost calls/received SMS in the screensaver.

Write 2 SonyEricsson and complain, I have =) But I still love my T610. But there are many things that can be much better.

More memory, information in Calls, sounds in Messaging and better Organizer...

Why is the T610 a mobile phone?
It should be with you always?
how can you then miss a message or call?
