Bit off topic - did anyone notice that t610 uses far more battery when turned off (at night), compared to when it is turned on. Maybe it is just my phone...

How long did you get?

2,5 days battery life, when I turned if off during the night
, compared to 3-4 days, when I left it on. I think it will improve when I move to another city, where the signal strenght is much stonger.

I have had a T610 for a while now and was pretty dissapointed with the battery life which was poor. Luckly this changed and it now works fine, 2-4 days on average. Incidently this occured when I went back to school. Do you check your phone for messages, and other things while you are in class? ie, flicking screen on and then off every 10 minutes or so. This could be the cause, shame to hear you've scratched the screen, very annoying!!. One thing you could try is turning your phone off during class time, this could help a lot.

How come Nokia phones last so much longer than phones? I've had a few nokias, and a few , and the nokias always outlast them in battery life (although they are no way as good, in my opinion - but then i probably wouldnt be here if i thought otherwise!).

My 6110's (i think thats what it is, around that number, pretty sure htough) batteries last for ages on normal use, about a week or so. But my t68 and t610, on pretty much standard use only last a couple days.

I know this has been brought up before, but it is so annoying

I think the desktop charger is to blame, 24h has passed, only 1 green bar gone from battery meter!

gotta throw it out the window =/

Cavey...
my mom dukes had the same problem with her phone...the battery was no good....she took it to the SE service and they sent it for repair...turned out there were something wrong with the phone...not the battery....and this was after that she got her 3rd battery exchanged into a new one...so my opinion would be that u leave it in for repair...and they should NOT charge u anything...due to that is tecnical problems...

Its been 36h now since the last full charge WITHOUT the desktop charger was finished, and still only 1 green bar gone

so Im 100% sure that the conclusion has to be that the desktop charger looks cool, but sucks!=P
