I have the same problem - i leave the bluetooth on (since there is no automatic mode, like my t68i) and i only get about 2 days. i called sony support here in the usa and they were complete a**h*l*s. does anyone know if the firmware upgrade will improve battery life (either directly or indirectly, e.g. improving signal)?
all in all, i am becoming increasingly frustrated with my t610 and wonder if i shouldn't have just stuck with the t68i which initially got 5-6 days standby and after a year 3days.

My T610 is slightly worse than my T68i:

I used to charge the T68i every 3 days, once the battery reached around 25%.

The T610 also lasts 2-3 days with playing around and long calls, but the battery is almost flat by that time!

I use mine ALL day with gprs and wap-gprs and it lasts after 10 -12 hours. This means that if i`d need to talk ,i`d probably get 6 hours of talking and that`s GOOD!When i bought it and didn`t use gprs, with a lot of playing and constant midi playing for all my friends my phone stays on for 2 days and a half.I charge it twice a day anyway:D

The battery on my T610 last for 5 to 6 days, while my HBH lasts for about 3 days. I charge my headset every 3rd day and on the 6th, I charge both the phone and headset.

I'd say, battery lasts longer than most. And it's also true that it takes several charge/discharge cycles before the battery reaches its optimum performance.

My bat. lasts 4/5 days, calling, taking snapshots (instead of using it as tv screen), gprs. I don't play games, no i.r. BT. is only actived automaticly during sending of files, no need in keeping this on all the time. I use my phone untill the bat. is at 0% I'm happy with the bat. :-) (Becarefull with non-original bat. , some cases reported of exploding bat.) This message was posted from a T610

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think exploding batteries are Nokia's problem (although they have yet to admit this), not . While overheating/exploding chargers (european versions) are problem (and yes, they have been recalling and replacing such chargers).

Sorry if this is a bit off-topic.

@crackerjacker

i'm talking non original batteries.
don't matter what brand they're for.

nokia non originals has made much news lately,
but this is nothing new, it has happend before with different brands.

it's mainly the cheap non brand batterries which become unstable after a drop.

Guys, its sAd but true. The t610's battery doesnt last for long when in regular use i expected it to last much longer when i got it(although its much better than my previous nokia 6610). Even Most retailers i asked admit the battery sucks for a business phone. I remember my t65 used to last me forever with one charge, and long lasting battery has always been a strong point in SE . I hope SE are aware of this issue, and develop stronger batteries in the future This message was posted from a T610

Let me disagree with some ppl who say that T610 battery lasts for long.
IWhen I bought my T610 I got 2 batteries in the package, and none of them is lasting for mroe than 2 days (about 30 min calls per day, almost not playing games, minimal use of BT everyday to connect to computer). However, in the shop I bought it at were convincing me that battery should hold at least 4 days, even with relatively heavy usage. this actually proved to be wrong in reality...
Thus, I guess SE maybe should better think about their production, since they position T610 as a business phone...
At the same time, my T68i is stably serving me for at least 3 days...
