here is what I think... I don't think it is a PROBLEM at all... neither with the PHONE nor with the SIM card...

It depends on the information stored IN THE SIM MODULE - has nothing to do with the phone - no matter what brand it is.

My phones (T610, T68i, R600, T65) show:

BG M-TEL
M-TEL GSM BG

The 1st line is a translation of 284.01, which is:
284 = unique GSM country code of Bulgaria
01 = unique GSM code for Bulgarian GSM Operator.

The second line may BE or may BE NOT shown at the display, and it SOLELY depends on what the GSM operator STORED in the SIM card.

Almost all of the mobile phones here in Bulgaria would show 2 lines, but if you get your phone stollen or something, and they give you a new SIM card, than it is from the new production series all the phone shows is just one line "MOBILTEL".

So guys, trust me on this - there is no need of master reset or 13sec. trick... none ot them will change these 2 lines You may ask for a SIM card replace.

That's my opinion!

That's what I mean by sim problem. Not that there is an actual problem with the sim, but the reason for it, is the sim itself. I have two different sim cards with two different providers and only one does that.
