When Symbian was first formed around 2000, Ericsson showed a number of devices in prototype form. There were 3 that I remember:
1. The R380 prototype
2. A Palm form factor device
3. A Psion 5 type (Communicator) device
Now that last type had a thin and foldable keyboard, I assume so that you could use it as a tablet (Palm form factor and may be like the T3 with horizontal display) and as a Communicator when you needd to enter text. It may be this last prototype that is now being developed by SE into a commercial product (have you seen the Clie UX50?).

good after noon guys.
first of all, i would liek to thank all of you for your inputs regarding my inquiries. I appreciate them. the thing with old GF and th enew one is very comparable

in my old days anyway..hehehe..
Jah..nope. havent seen the clie but i posted this other one under the heading, imate pocket pc.
i called axiom here but they dont have an idea about the exact price. something between $700- 800 according to them. I will see if this one place (APTEC) will trade in my P800. however, if you look at my other post, a colleague of mine has just bought the imate pocket pc. I'm trying to find a review for it but can't. the imate lookms good with some heavy memory on it and a cam recorder i think.
going back to P900, its gonna be difficult buying one if a shop doesnt trade in! and if a new phone will be release by SE, it will even make it more difficult to buy the P900. hmmm..

So D_G,
Is the P900 released in UAE yet? About how much does it cost without signing up a new line or trade in.
Anyway,
I've been to Dubai airport, and I must say that it is one of the most technologically advanced airport in the Middle East.
Thanks,
Rocky

KL airport in Malaysia great too.
Makes Heathrow and Gatwick look like the 2 old blokes of aviation.

only the exit of Heathrow is "groovy", I am through there at least 2 times a month and the place is a pit.....
You would never beleive that this place has more passengers go though it than any other airport...

If you are standing in line waiting to go through the metal detectors you would. The only airport that I have ever been to where there was bigger Qs was Stanstead.
