@JJayMobile, "Orange shit" is a sign of too many carrots in the diet.
CPW UK now show the P800 at £29.99 on a TMobile contract (£30 per month)
OR
£329 sim free outright.

As far as I was aware Orange will unlock it for you ONCE you've paid up the remainder of your contract......

OMG do people not read my posts. I posted a proper thread about this a couple of days ago.
It's coming into Orange shops on Wednesday. This is what we (staff) have been told, so it should be true!
No we can't unlock phones, and no we can't arrange for them to be unlocked.
That's the job for the dodgy geeza.
But pay attention.
Wednesday. k?

Yea, its fairly typical of High Street retailers nowdays, when they can't provide a service that people actually WANT, they refer to it as "Dodgey" well i have news for you, LOCKING phones to your network in the first place is the DODGEY bit, if the phone is my property, what right have Orange to make me PAY to use it how i wish, i did post eaarlier that someone on this forum DID get his Orange phone unlocked in the shop. unless it was already an unlocked phone & he didn't realise it, i know some Orange T68i's were sold on Orange unlocked.

Here here pachy! Orange are a bit tyrannical with things. I've had more than my fair share of problems with them.

Do you work for Oange? If so are you being serious that they would use P900s to replace P800s?

@Caspa, they may put one by, cos they know what your like.
£329 outright for a P8 at CPW ...Bargain....but i just got £260 for my 10 month old (perfect condition unit) & am awaiting P9 stock with avengence.
@scotsboyuk, Very rarely does this happen, the insurance claims situation alway demands a huge supply of phones for replacements, although if the unit cost is the same its just possible they may offer a P9, but remember after a short period the insurance(about 1 month from purchase) the company can give you a RECONDITIONED unit as replacement & there will be plenty of them in the system.a good example is if you made a loss claim for a T68i, tthey would easily find a recon unit for you eeven though its not in production.
