So a real issue comes up and instead of engaging in a healthy debate about it you guys run off with your tails inbetween your legs.
This is a discussion forum.. People will inevitably have different views about things (hence mine)
If you cant handle that and run off at any sign of confrontation then maybe you should go hang around at internet casino's instead of forums.
hey I thought this thread was finished with your comment...

Jelly did consult ajack about the site, ajack said look at this good site as well in the orginal thread, also how are nokia users who don't know anything about bluejacking, they wont even know the name as they've never herd of it before (unless they've been told) so how are they going to know to go to bluejackQ? i don't think it was jelly that reported it to the BBC anyway.

i'd like to congratulate ajack and jellyellie alike for bringing some interesting and welcome hysteria/interest to both Esato and the phone forum scene as a whole....i read your post once and never once looked at the bluejackq site but as soon as i read the BBC article i was there following just like a regular punter....and this coming from someone who's been on esato for quite some time now.
i've sat on a train and searched for other Bluetooth users before, not sure it was before last December but so what if it was or wasnt...i didnt post it on here and discuss it in such depth....or even build a website to celebrate the fact....so hats off to those that did something about what they thought was a cool thing to do....this is what i would call a phenomenon.....started by 2 people on Esato.
anyone talkin any other sh** other than congratulations is just a hater.

Let's try to clear this up once and for All. As far as i'm concerned, Ellie did not go to BBC, they came to her. As for the whole "she didn't create it why let her get the credit, blah blah blah..." She did try to give credit to the original creator of Bluejacking, but BBC didn't think it was resourceful enough to include it in their report. Also, She isn't taking credit for something, she is just a trend setter. How many people here have made, or created Themes for their phones? Quite a few, now just because they didn't create it doesn't mean, they can't have their own themes right? Same thing with Ellie, She just created a website, that (1) isn't generating Money (I dont think) and (2) Isn't stealing Ideas, just sharing them. If you wrote a report, and used a quote from a book, without putting reference to the book, that would be plagarism. Giving reference, gives you legal support because your saying, "I didn't come up with the idea, I share, and believe the idea, but here is where I got it from.." So, let's quit the bickering. Because if whoever created Bluejacking isn't complaining, why should we? We are worse than most lawyers....
