I've haven't read some of the previos posts (too long ) so it might have been said but Sony has realesed a new digitlal camera. It has of course Sony's Memory Stick but not (as the previous cameras) only, it also has SD. I read this as if Sony themself thinks that thier memory stick isn't that good.

It's still bad that the MS Pro is now available, but the P900 does not support it.

OK, the P800 was never going to, but you would think that SE would realise all the negative comments about the 128Mb limit for the P800 and do something about it when they released the P900. It appears not ....

The MS Pro is still very expensive, especially now that you can buy a $90 adapter for your ipod (if you have one) and store your photos on there. It sort of makes the MS Pro look stupid when you can buy a 20Gb ipod for the same price as a 1Gb memory stick pro.

The whole "proprietary" nature of the memory stick does Sony no favours at all. Reviews on their products all slate it, but they still keep on forcing the memory stick down everyone's throats. I feel it will eventually put people off buying Sony products because of their greed.

The 128Mb limit in today's world is just a joke, even in a phone (with multimedia capabilities). SD cards are well ahead. Sony should just admit defeat with the memory stick and start using an alternative. They might have some happier customers then ....

what is this 128 meg card max to support the P800/900?? thats a day l light rip off. All of us would expect at least 512 cards ot eb available with the intoroduction of those phones..how long it took them to introduce the 128 duo card for P800?? thats sad i think..people here r buying the XDA 2 with 512 cards. thats what we need, a freaking 512 min if not a 1 gega card. recording clips, MP3 sons, pictures, 10s of different softwares and applications, movie clips, powerpoint/word/excel files...all those need bigger storage areas..whats up with SE??? why have they made it so difficult for us, users?? i cant sotre a damn thing on my phone and i dont want to get the 128, which i think is not an enough capacity for me..

@PhonePersonality

Hi as well,

Sorry for whinging as much, but Sony should take a good hard look at themselves.

Look at the P800, when the 128Mb MSD came out, nobody could get them. Yet again they released a product without sufficient spares to back it up.

It's a great phone, but the one thing that really lets it down is the LIMITED CAPACITY OF THE MS DUO

What's the point of releasing a MULTIMEDIA phone with MP3 and VIDEO playback, and not enough storage on the phone to support it.
128Mb = 32 MP3 files @128Kb/s. That's not enough. As for video, what's the point .....

Maybe they want everyone to carry round loads of 128Mb MS Duo at £90 a go, no frigging chance ......

Waken up SE !!!!!!!! Give your customers what they want.
