1) online updates
The 6600 can do that.

Quote:3) stereo playback of mp3 (nice then you wont have to have another device for music with you)
It has mono, but mp3's still sound great.

Quote:4) mp3s as ringsignals and other alarmsignals
The 6600 can do that.

Quote:5) Bigger screen without being alot larger (better screen/phonesize ration)
Point taken.

Quote:The pros for 6600 was better memorycard slot and cheaper price
thats about it.
Theres more advantages than that

Hurny...

The fact that you bought the 3650... well can't really blame you for feeling sorry for the ugly bugger and offering it a home... and we all make mistakes, some bigger than others of course... yours was about 130.0 x 57.0 x 26.0mm in size, weighing around 130g... though looking and feeling much bigger due to its clumsy awkwardness, of course...

And the 3660... mmmm... now what did they do with that... improve the already drop dead gorgeous looks of the thing... nope... but I spy, a little change to the keypad... now I wonder why they did such a thing... making it closer to "normal"... maybe it was after much uproar from unfortunate customers/victims (delete as appropriate) who kept dialing the wrong numbers! Nokias customer care lines are busy enough at the best of times...

Nokia clearly hated the design themselves... otherwise, if they were so confident in it, and if it did sell in more than double figures, a little of its rather unfortunate design may have remained in future handsets... This, of course will not be the case... although I have seen a few people with oddly shaped phones, wearing dark glasses, a fake moustache, rain mac and a cleverly shaped bowler hat upon it's rather square head... perhaps they have gone into hiding (although plastic surgery may have been an option... I hear lighters are good for this)

I dont mind having a strange looking phone.
Most people say it looks like a remote control.
But when I tell them that it IS one (ie. I have IR Remote), they dont believe me!

I will post what I already said before:

The 3650 must have done alright, because they went and made the 3660.

And its true. It must have. The 3660 is the same apart from the keypad, the screen colour and a few more bits & pieces.

different type of animal different users..

i havne't been fortunate enough to see a p900 yet..but can't wait

i've used a 3650, and p800 and am now using a 6600. main reason rf... up here in canada.. SE rf canot survive on the 1900 band..damn shame..

the p800 was cool but too heavy for me.. the rf was horrible..very cool though.. i hate the jogdial... i want a joystick like the other se's
moving backwards and forwards sucks on that thing... but up and down is convinet.

the 6600 is a great phone and it can play ngage games.. that's cool!

i love playing games on my phone adn the nokia is better at it.. tetris sucks on p800.

anyway as an all in one device the p800/900 series is better.. but for fun fcator i'd say 6600 is better.

again my opinion

(waiting "patiently" for an SE smartphone.. that's more phone and less pda.) with a kick ass cam

Damn I'm jealous of you!
Hey- does all your symbian software for the 3650 work on the 6600?

I can play N-gage on my 3650 too. It just needs a small intaller file and lets you play them.

nope not all the 3650 apps work yet...

i can record unlimited video with ETICam still but the soudn doesn't work

picture display still sucks and the third party app doesn't work anymore..

stupid nokia.. i wish they'd learn from SE... SE pic display rocks!
but then again if SE would give me good rf in canada i'd be rocking.. a p900.

yes but the 6600 can play all ngage games... not just teh small files..btu you still can't move diagonal whcih sucks

teh 6600 actually has RAM...not much but a lot better then the 3650.

about 10 mb free, my p800 had about 10mb free as well... what's the p900 have?

I'm assuming you have a very early version of the 6600 though. I usually wait a few months after they arrive in the country. They're still not here in Oz though!!

Umm... if Ngage games were supposedly unique to that platform... what now is the point in buying one of them, if you can use play the games on a myriad of other phones... even from other manufacturers apparently... and on bigger screens, cos that ngage is tiny... virtua tennis must be knightmare...

And as for the 3560 upgrade... they probably gave up on the design, thinking that it would take so long to iron out the flaws of the misfit... just because it was upgraded, doesn't mean it was popular... just look at the flogging of a dead horse they have done with the 9210 to 9210i... and now just to announce a newer design anyway!

i have my connections

firmware 3.42.1

the software is buggy but thats's becasue nokia rushed it as always..but becaeu it's using the new symbian os..lot's of old apps will have to be converted somehow...

well i'm not paying for n-gage games... but from a gaming perspective better than what the p900/3650/6600 have to offer officially.
the graphics are code... not as good as a gameboy thought but close IMO
