and u hv yet to answer my question
if u hate SE so much, y r u on an SE board??
u cant deny it... SE is by far superior to Nokia
they might not do better in the market, but the phones sure r better!
ask on any non-nokia forum
I'm not saying SE is the best.. hell, far from.. there is no best!
most the world buys compaq.. dont make them the best computers
we r mostly open minded ppl regarding posts about other manufacturers
the worst is when u hv fanatics
being a fanatic is the worst
broaden ur horizons.. and I'm not just talkin about Flyin Finn.. but to everyone who is like " IS the best!! the rest suck"

Well, here's a start for one. If you are so intelligent, I think you'd understand that the best think to do if you want to convince
users that Nokia is better or ar least as good, then I think you ought to do it in a nice, reasonable way. Don't be soo fiery. We got your point (and if we started quoting all
your posts, and gave
intelligent answers all threads where you're involved soon would be very long...). Plus, you don't have to turn every thread that says Nokia is worse than
into a discussion thread (that would take very long time to do on a forum like esato anyway
).
I always try to do it in a nice, reasonable way. What gets me fiery is the most blatants lies like "6600 is just a 3310 in a different casing" or "no nokia has BT" or other things like that - which are very common here. Being a Nokia user I want to correct them. The Nokia knowledge of the members in this board is astonishingly poor. And when I reply I base my argumenting on known facts (like technical specs) and examples INSTEAD of just saying "se users are dumb" or "se's are crap". I think that's intelligent. Not the hate-filled Nokia loathing you have.

I am here because you think you know what you're talking about when it comes to Nokia. But many times I have proved you don't. And where is the intelligence in "SE is by far superior to Nokia"? To me it sounds like your opinion, something a
fanatic would say.

Why is everyone getting so worked up over which is better, Nokia or
? I have never understood this brand loyalty. I buy whatever phone that suits my needs. At the moment that is the P900, but if Nokia come out with a P900 killer, I will probably go with that.
Most people just want a phone that is easy to use and is good for phone calls, texting, and possibly photo-messaging. Nokia phones are very good in these areas and would be an excellent choice for most people. A phone is good if it does what you want, so all the people here saying that Nokia are crap are just talking crap themselves.

I won't fight that stereotype anymore after this, but to get an idea of how much more than that the Series 60 Nokias can do please go to My-Symbian.com and the Series 60 section. They don't come much behind the P900.

I don't get worked up - but it's the same old scenario: every now and then someone new comes along trying to bore us to death with his Nokia arguments. At some point I gave a very comprehensive and pertinent (I think) opinion as to why I chose Ericsson over Nokia. Now it's just... boring and useless. Flying Finn may have a point though: Nokia were able to do something they haven't achieved in more than 5 years, since the days of 2110, 8110 and 7110 - they came up with a revolutionary product, the 6230.

I'd say the 7650 was pretty revolutionary. Now you have Siemens, Samsung and Sendo using its UI (Series 60).
