Maybe its because SE has a 3G phone in sight... They surely have eliminated themselves from the DUO PRO market with the Pxxx series.. The mobile industry is moving towards 3G mobile phone technology.. However, SE has bragging rights with its P900... The 128mb limitation will sure take them a step backwards.. Especially that the DUO PRO format press release came before the commerical release of the P900..

As another old vet originally with a T68 and putting hand in pocket to keep esato running I also like Verm & also BigFeat responses. Both can get carried away some time but its the varying character of people which make esato an interesting read
@Verm - Still snowboarding up my way tonight? Need to warn the girls

Quick question... its probably in the instructions somewhere but I'm gonna ask here.
Are the MagicGate 128meg DUO's supported by the P900... I'm not bothered about the high speed transfer I was just wondering.
Secondly I was wondering what the cheapest proced 128meg DUO cards were that people have seen.
Cheers.

Don't really know, or care to be honest, about the magic gate thing... my new card has it, but i won't use it, since, as i said, i don't know what it does either... something about proprietory rights i think
I had my 128mb duo, the newer type darker blue one from Amazon, for nigh on £45... they were a little slower than usual delivering it, but was here within 5 days i would say, which is what they suggest anyway... I had yet to see a cheaper one before I ordered that, and Amazon are, in my opinion, a very good, reputable company, which goes along way nowadays !

Sorry, what I meant was if I get a magic gate mem-stick will my P900 spit it back at me or will it use it as a normal DUO.

So, I went ahead and bought for myslef my second 128 duo today!

Movies here I come!
And vermani is right, magic gate technology does not work with the P800/P900. Is actually is useless. Which is good bec I really find the Magic Gate technology to be a total waste of time. I use to have a clie NR70V and magic gate worked for that, meaning, All the songs I transfered from my PC to me device, I could transfer it to any other LAPTOP or my other gadgets.. You can only send/recieve music through 1 pC! SuckZ!!!!!!
