Guys,

I have no problem with voice dialing using my HBH-60 and P900.
It is so surprised that lots of you here facing that annoying problem. So, I would like to share my P900 setting, which I think would be beneficial for some of you.

The most important thing to note here is:
Please record your voice using the HBH-60, and not the microphone on P900 !!! Put it close to your mouth and wait until the pop up 'speak after tone' dissapear, or just before its dissapearance. I've tried to record the voice using HBH 60 around 3 meters from the phone, and it's been recorded successfully.

And I've tried to make voice call at the same distance, it also successful.

Here are the settings on my P900:

BT seetings in the Control Panel:

check the ON box
uncheck the visible to other device box
click device and click HBH 60 ---> check the allowed to connect without confirmation box.
In the Phone preferences:
click Voice control
check voice dialing box, voice answer, and play caller name
you need to record answer,
pls don't record Magic word as it doesn't work for you HBH 60
Again in the Phone preferences, click Handsfree:

Make sure in the Bluetooth setting you choose Headset as preferred sound device.

So far, it works fine for me, should be the same for everybody. Anyway I've upraded the F/W : R3A06
but it doesn't really matter as the voice dial worked well when I used to have R1B01

Good luck

I forgot the share two more tips based on my experience using HBH 60 and P900.

1. In the BT setting, click devices-->click HBH 60--> then I normally uncheck the 'allow connection without confirmation' box. It's kinda weird thing to do but I found the pairing is more stable and voice dialing works very well with this setting.

2. During 'voice recording', I found saying 'two words' would be easily recognised by P900 compare to one word:

For example, 'Marcellina Mian' is easier to be recognised than 'Marcellina'. This is based on my own experience.

I really enjoy using voice dialing on P900 and HBH 60.
Good luck.

OK I have the P900 with HBM-30 Bluetooth Music player , HBH-15, HBH-65, HBH-200. I did this test with a T68i and a Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox pocket pc running using (MS voice control and BT). On the pocket pc all the head set work the same and recognision was great. On t68i after pair all worked fine exept the 200 was a little buggy. But on the P900 the voice dailing went out the window. By ticking the connected without confirmation things smoother.

But I think if the next firmware aloows you to record the voice dialing commands and name THROUGH the BT headset would probably make recognision better.

I thought this was not only possible, but the only way to successfully record voice tags that can be used with e.g. HBH-65? In other words, don't you HAVE to use the HBH-65 to record tags before they'll work through it?
