i just tried connecting my p800 via usb cable and connected to it with hyperterminal. some odd text appears (ob¬+) then i get

"mRouter - Are you there?"

over and over.

i tried the same with my Z600 and ATZ returned OK but AT+CKPD=1234567890 returned an error

this hyperterminal connection might work on a computer without the px00 sontware installed on it, i stopped mRouter and the "are you there?" text stopped appearing.

EDIT: it would appear that hyperterminal can only be used for AT commands, to use AT commands on the P800 is needs to be in modem mode.
