Davieboi, I think it's a bit harsh to say Sony just slapped their logo on the SE phones. They also brought us the delights of polyphonic ringtones and their knowledge of GUIs (compare the UI of the T65 to that of the J70 for example).
Saying that, they're still more Ericsson than Sony and I'm glad SE stuck with Ericsson's battery technology and looks...

Why and where did sony save ericsson? erm because I would have never brought a ericsson and I know a friend who has recently brought a z600 and I know he never would have brought it if it was ericsson either. He has even said that himself. Plus before sony I saw nothing interesting which would have changed me over to ericsson and simply because it is a fact since it has been SE the sales have gone up. You said sony didn't save ericsson, so why were ericsson after a joint venture if they were perfectly fine and their sales were perfect? I know if I onwed a company and it was doing brilliantly I wouldn't be looking for no merge or joint venture.
Once again I will say I am not an ericsson hater but I believe without sony, ericsson would simply just fall back into last place in the mobile market.
