well i faced a similar problem with my old nokia 3530, it was dripping with water as i walked out in the rain talking..Moments later it shuts down, i reach my place and try to CPR with the phone it does not work, but then i use my sisters hair dryer and it did the trick, But dude I had the same problem with the battery and the solution is very simple leave your battery in the open air for 24 hrs preferebly near the hair dryer or humidity free area with dry and hot air and it will be alive again and serve you dutifully...ha ha

Foxhunter, fma is a windows program that connects to t610 via bluetooth or ir, and it can the show the battery status. I forgot to mention that the battery problem was also solved ;-) This message was posted from a T610

not only the t610 is water-proff, also the t300
a friend of mine lost his t300 a week ago when he was hiking with his family - meanwhile he btw bought a t230 - today his mother went the same hiking route and guess what, she found his t300 lying in the snow
and guess what my friend tried to recharge it and guess what - it works perfectly there are only those water bubbles under the display

It will die, like any new t610, because in the inside the damaged parts where all changed

Of course if i bring it with me to the wc, again, and let if fall, again, it will die
