Yeah, had similar experience with these cowboys,
had an R310 that had a faulty battery seal - instead of replacing it they glued it back together with some regular glue - something i could have done myself. Following this the phone developed various faults - powering down on its own, a press of the 7 key bringing up 9. Off the phone went on its merry way to celectica again, only to come back with the same fault 14 days latter. Not to be deterred I sent the phone back again, and when I called to see what was happening was told "Sir we've given you a new handset" When the package arrived back guess what - My old handset was inside!
So the phone went back to celestica - another two weeks and this time they sent what appeared to be a new handset - except this time you couldnt hear the other caller, in short a speaker fault.

This was the last straw - A long wrestle with SonyEricsson Customer Service and I ended up with an R520 - at last a reliable handset.

I dont actually think the R310 was a bad handset - Celestica just screwed things up royally every chance they got.

SonyEricsson should get rid of these muppets immediately - trained monkeys could do the job better.

Alrite for sum when i sent my T300 off to crappy celestica it took 1 1/2 months to come bak, then wen they sent me it back it still didnt work, Thanks to celestica ive sed Bye Bye to SE and switched to samsung. Also, have u ever tried phoning them, it takes a minimum of about 90mins to get through

I sent off a T68i to Celestica Telford UK, 10 days ago not heard anything from so far, now I found this post I'm a worried man!

The phone was purchased from Orange online and is a pay as you go, I hope Orange treat people on contracts better than they do those who buy PAYG phones form them, all I got was a Sony phone number and in turn Sony gave me the Celestica details to send the phone for repair !

Funny that the people at Orange were really nice to me when I was buying the phone, then they couldn't give a toss when it developed a fault I needed them to sort it out ... 'ring this Sony E number' was the only help they offered.

I have emailed BBC's watchdog a few times, maybe everyone here should do the same whether your gripe is with SONY E, Orange or both .... would love to see them getting named and shamed on National TV ..... You feel so helpless, they take your money then leave you high and dry when the phone turns out to be a piece of crap !

All I can say is that I use Orange Care on my phone, and its the best policy I've seen! I've always had a replacement within 24 hours, even once on the same day! Top marks to orange. Even the PAYG one is brilliant!

cpw and celestica have had my p800 since 14dec i have given up arguing with them as i seem to get nothing but lies. I have sent my complaint to the ofcom regulator insisting on a full refund now! i will never use either company again!
