> T610 slow running

I got my firmware updated recently, and mine was one of the very first batch of T610's that came out. It was slow as hell on R1L.
Now its on R4C and its 10x faster, so i dont think the hardware is anything to do with it. Also, you dont always lose all your files, it depends whether whoever updates the firmware performs a master reset.
I got mine updated from R1L to R4C, now the phone is fast and i didnt lose a thing. Where screensavers are concerned, its best to delete them and then resend them to the phone from your pc, as they only speed up if you do it. If you dont, they stay slow like on old firmware.

if I remember correctly R1S001 is a t-mobile custom firmware but I have no idea if they have provided an updated firmware since then

To the others: I DON'T KNOW what u talk about! The T610 is the 1st Ericsson phone to respond nice and quickly to the commands!This discussion was here oer and over!GET a T28 1st and then talk about T610 being slow.And the update makeing it 10 times faster??! U booy must've fallen from a tree or something..
